Core Materials and Manufacturing Process

Common Materials: We utilize high-strength materials including 60# Steel, 65Mn, and 42CrMo.

Forging Process: Through precision forging technology, we ensure complete metal flow lines and a dense internal structure, significantly enhancing the wheel’s impact resistance and crack resistance.

Key Technical Specifications: Hardness and Wear Resistance

As crane wheels are subject to significant wear, the heat treatment process adheres to rigorous standards.
Tread Hardness: To enhance load-bearing capacity and wear resistance, the wheel tread requires high hardness, typically reaching HRC 40-48.

Quenched Layer Depth: High-quality wheel forgings demand a quenched layer and transition zone depth greater than 10mm.

Base Performance: While ensuring surface wear resistance, the base structure must possess excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.

Hardness is controlled between HBS 187~229 to ensure sufficient toughness and resistance to contact fatigue.
